I love this place, these statues. I know how difficult it is to get an interesting photo here, but this is great: a wonderful sense of monumentality, then with added wit and warmth supplied by teddy bear. It’s fascinating how these Gormley figures have now been adopted by the people of Crosby. I must go back to see them again.

It's so good to see that the Iron man has a soft side. Gormley has a set of statues in Stavanger in Norway too, and I have seen one in Edinburgh.
