Blick über die Obertrave

Die mittelalterliche Altstadt von Lübeck ist von allen Seiten - wie eine Insel - von der Trave umgeben. Links sehen wir die 125 m hohen Doppeltürme der Marienkirche und rechts den 108 m hohen Turm der Petrikirche.

What beautiful architecture! I love the colours of the buildings and their attractive frontages. The two churches are really lovely - I especially like the copper covered spires and roof.

The dark sky and white clouds make a super backdrop. Such an attractive town and superbly captured. Great job Wilhelm.
