HFF

From the National Museum of Australia, Canberra. On the left is a tall, curved, shiny polished steel mirrorfence....I love the architecture of this complex...it is so imaginative and exciting!
I wish everyone a safe and Covid free weekend. Keep warm and well.
Very best wishes to all and a million thanks to the wonderful Ipernity team who got the site back up and running correctly.

Schön, das zu sehen, ich hoffe, die Ureinwohner kommen dort in gerechter Weise zur Geltung...
Das war und ist mir ein echtes Anliegen seit unserem Besuch in Euren schönen Kontinent...

Diana Australis replied to ©UdoSm:

They have a huge representation in this museum. And in all areas these days. Most indigenous people who choose to stay in education are well supported, and very large amounts of money are spent on education and health for indigenous people. Sadly, some who prefer to live in their homelands in very remote areas, far from any services, hundreds of kilometres from towns, do not take advantage of schools and facilities provided in their communities, and there is a lot of violence and dysfunction. It is improving, but slowly.

What a marvelous image of this grand and yes--exciting!--architecture! I love the angle here to maximize the steel balls marching up the path and reflected on the building's side. I expect the inside of this building was equally marvelous!
