Caledonian MacBrayne..., usually shortened to CalMac, is the major operator of passenger and vehicle ferries, and ferry services, between the mainland of Scotland and 22 of the major islands on Scotland's west coast. Quoted from Wikipedia.
The opening to the Isles, Joe. Aren't you tempted to embark on one of the ferries, especially in weather as good as this?
I assume they serve a good cup of coffee on board. ;-)
My friend and I were about to embark on the MV 'Loch Shira' earlier this year. We went for lunch first. When we came out the restaurant, the heavens opened up, and we decided to leave it until another day. I don't think we would have time for a coffee, as the crossing from Largs Ferry Terminal to Cumbrae Slip is very brief. Thanks for your very kind comment, Amelia. Cheers, Joe
This would have been a perfect day to take the ferry, but with our weather, you have to take your chances! A beautiful warm and colourful shot. Cheers, Rosa.
A first sight, you never would say this is in Scotland, with these blue sky and water;-) What a beautiful image which makes you wish to see holidays arriving....
