In my opinion the "secret" is to have a certain goal. Mine was to make it in one year but not to force it either. There are 52 weeks in the year, meaning somewhat one picture per week, but sometimes allow oneself to take more per week, and sometimes less.

And now that I got this "out of my system", I can start a new one ;-)

A festive end to your series to crown it all! I have been thinking a lot about the 50-images project but somehow never have got around to it myself.

One can start with something less ambitious ;-) Several years ago I had weekly projects. Every now and then I spent one week on figuring out some idea or style. One of them were "sideways", subjects that look cool seen that way:

The most important part of that was the play with direction of light. Light on a cloudy day normally coming from up was turned to come from one side.

I have a theme in mind, our town has more than 400 flights of steps:-) But until I have managed to get at least a few shots to start with I'll refrain from participating.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that one can have also personal projects, and certainly no need to join any groups because of that ;-) Those weekly projects of mine were like that.
