The idea is actually to illustrate my mother's condition: Alzheimer's disease and dementia. She tries to keep a diary every day, to keep record on her daily whereabouts, but she keep on getting days and happenings mixed. Moreover, it is said the handwriting tells a lot about how far Alzheimer has proceeded.

However, the most important thing is that the diary shows her she has done something! =D

This is very sad... and I know what I am saying...
A good thing she writes, a form of fighting the desease...

Deine Aussage kann ich bestätigen, Sami! Ich habe alle Phasen mitbekommen. Zuerst ging das Kurzzeitgedächtnis verloren (Immer dieselben Fragen kurz nacheinander), dann zeigte es sich an der Schrift und am Wortschatz und zuletzt - am Tag vor dem letzten Atemzug - war überhaupt nichts mehr da. Es war traurig, das erleben zu müssen.

My mother is still on early stage, and got the disease considerably old. So, hopefully she survives from the worst stages. Besides, at the moment she seem to remember happy and positive things, and not the negative memories =)
