The scripture might be a little bit more bright.
As dark as it is in this release, it's not very redabable.
(Background is fine)

I'll see what I can do. Maybe it is easy to fix, even by me. Alternatively I ask if Spotomy could fix it.

Folks, please also keep on reporting where it does work. Tell me on what operating system (Windows, iOS or Linux) and with what browser you manage to get it working. But certainly also report if it does not work, and on what environment this occurs.

I tried to make another version with a little brighter font colors, but it turned out pretty difficult task. I will contact Spotomy and ask if he could do yet another version.

Hi Samy, my opinion:
Ipernity should not appear gloomy and dark, but bright and friendly...

Sami Serola (inactiv… replied to ©UdoSm:

Thank you for the feedback, Udo.

Please notice this is a client side method. People who wish to view pages with dark style, can use this only on their own computers. It does not affect on pages on server in any way.

There can be numerous reasons why users may wish to view pages with light font color on dark background. Some people find it better for eyes. Or if we discover this works also on tablets, then it can be nice to have a possibility to view pages with dark style for example when travelling bus at night, when lights are dimmed.

In other words, for the public ipernity will remain as it is, with white background. I personally also like ipernity as it is: a lighter, brighter and faster option.

Hi Sami, strangely embedded deezer application is not working with this style. See for example www.ipernity.com/doc/eric.desjours/45888404 : ok in white, music is played ; nothing even is displayed when configured with Ipernity Dark style.
You may say that this deezer extension is actually not accessible to everybody. But it's quite used by French members.
Note that it's called through an iframe: iframe src="www.deezer.com/plugins/player?format=classic&autoplay=true&playlist=false&width=540&height=90&color=007FEB&layout=&size=medium&type=tracks&id=2813013&app_id=1" width="560" height="110" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>iframe
(I've removed the brackets so that is is not interpreted by ipernity)

That is very strange indeed. I'll see if I find the reason for it.

Please update the style. You may have to remove the style first on Stylish. Then go here to install it again: userstyles.org/styles/154271/ipernity-dark-style-2017
