Oh, aren't these just beautiful, Eunice! I am fortunate to live where these poppies grow wild...there are often fields of them and they grow everywhere they find purchase in areas that they have established themselves. I have tried hard to get them to take hold on our property. Slow, slow road there but we are getting a few to reseed and add a splash of color. Did you know that there are other colors than just this rich orange? I was hugely surprised to find this out and planted seeds of many colors. Only a few have grown but they are all just lovely! I'm hoping we'll get more colors next spring. :) (Here's an example of some of their colorful variety: California Poppy: Sunset Mix
