A Step in Time.

The original is in PiP. Just converted this to black & white and did a little cloning. The statue in the background is of Dorset poet William Barnes (22 February 1801 – 7 October 1886).

050 a step in time.

Ha, ha............it took me ages to work out what you'd cloned out...........I should have gone to Specsaver's I think.

Not quite sure what to make of the man in the shot...........he seems to be in some sort of period costume. I like his hat though :-)

It's a cracking candid shot Rosa.............I like both versions, but I think you were right to make the B/W shot the main image...........it works very well.

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Keith Burton:

Ha ha...I can still see the white electric cord...but I'm not that good at cloning :-)

It was taken at The Thomas Hardy Victorian Fair Keith, so yes he was dressed up. We had popped into a cafe until the shower of rain passed and I snapped him quickly as we came out.

The b&w version does seem to be more popular. Many thanks for your kind comments.
