Oooh, I've been there a few times..............a lovely place, except it gets completely packed out in the summer..!!
A nicely composed shot with lots of detail and plenty to look at! Two smashing shots in the PiPs too - you could have saved the first one for Friday! The Sea-Boots made into Sea Dogs shot is just brilliant..!!
It's a great place, but you are right about being packed out in the summer. We used to have a relative with a chalet down there and she let us use it very often. Some great memories, but she is no longer with us now.
I did think about keeping that one for Friday, but have another lined up now :-)) The sea dogs were getting a lot of attention! It certainly draws people to their little shop. Thank you so much for your kind comments Keith.
WOOT!!! I just LOVE this, Roselyn. You are so good at creating presentations that make me feel as if you've taken my hand and walked me, arm-in-arm, to see the place you're sharing with us. Grounding details like those awesome boot-doggies, the look up at the building/s lovely textured-walls, you give us just enough to be tantalized and delighted! Super composition too...such fun. Thank you for the stroll on Bridge Street! :)
You are always so kind with your lovely descriptions Janet, and I thank you very much for that. I love to see quirky things like the welly-dogs and the nice thing about Lyme Regis is that it is so dog friendly. Since people have taken good notice of signs not to feed the seagulls, they really seem to have got the message too!! It is a delight to walk along the promenade and I am very happy to share it with you. All the best and Happy Easter :-))
