A familiar scene Rosa. I am sure that I too have walked this path. Looks like great weather in the very contrasty capture. The red safety fences actually add to this.

Cheers, Herb

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Herb Riddle:

The problem was, it was very windy Herb, that's why we walked along the river as it's sheltered. I was not happy to see the red fences at first, but I think you may be right...they do add something!
Cheers, Rosa.

A bit beyond Dorset, not far ... worth to travel to. :-)
Nice capture!
Have been once a bit further west for a week. Salcombe, near Sidmouth.

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Leon_Vienna:

Yes just over the border Leon. I don't know Salcombe very well, but I love to visit Sidmouth. It was where my great grandfather was the railway station master.

A beautiful place! Odd this red rock in the background! Red sandstone perhaps....

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Nouchetdu38:

I believe it is the red sandstone Nouchet. Devon is known for its red soil.
Thanks for your kind comments.
