not a still life in the strict sense, but i think it has a composed feel to it. i like mixes of colorful still living things with the fading back to the earth dried plants. there's something about the soft color palette that soothes me.

today my daughter said i always find such interesting textures in my photographs. i'd never thought about my photographic vision that way - but i think this photo is an example of that.
