one - always start with tea

how i start my day.

some mornings i get a quote, others i get to "Take a moment". (no, not all of those in one morning - haha.)

half of these are from the twinings tea shop in london - procured during our trip there in june! i only bought ones they don't sell in the states. brought home a suitcase full - haha. totally love the Golden Carmel Rooibos. i'm going to have to con some english friends into sending me more.

Like Keith, I NEED to start the day with one or, preferably two, VERY strong dark cups of coffee. Although I have only recently got the taste for it back again after Covid knocked out my taste for tea, coffee, alcohol and oily fish (no problem with anything else!).

I like coffee, but I need something in it, usually cream. And I have to go with decaf most of the time as I get all hyped up otherwise. I'm glad to hear you have gotten back your taste for those things. Someone else told me they were fine with everything taste wise except for Coca-cola! haha - I figure that isn't a bad thing to no longer drink.

I'm working on finding ways to feel grateful even when my day is not good. Perspective, I think, will help. Hope the 10 days between you writing and my reply have been much much better for you!
