To You & All You Hold Dear ...
Merry Christmas, y'all
This Norfolk and Western Caboose ( 518654 ) is behind the Depot Downtown ..
and from what I've found out - one Lady refurbished the interior .. by herself..
That is a labor of Love

This Norfolk & Western caboose was given to the City of Burlington by Norfolk Southern Railway in 1993.
It is symbolic of the railroad roots of the North Carolina Railroad town of Company Shops (1866) which became Burlington in 1893.
The caboose was painstakingly restored in 2006-2007 and is now a museum depicting life aboard a train as it was when a caboose rolled behind every freight.

Glad you enjoyed my holiday card, and also, that you were fascinated by the Horsehair worm. I provided a link for more information to those who wanted that but I didn't point it out: extension.umn.edu/nuisance-insects/horsehair-worms
And finally, yes! JUNCOS! I ADORE them. Such happy, bouncy little cutie pies! I used to consider the Chickadee as my favorite adorable bird. Juncos are at the same level to me now, what cutie pies! :)
Happy holidays my dear! *high five*
