The old bell...

is still rung every year to welcome in the New Year..
my friend ..
(and her English Mum before her) ..
would ring it...
out in the front yard ..
to welcome the New Year ..
yes ..
it is quite loud!

On the bell are Matthew, Mark, Luke and John with beautiful designs ..

Don't know what church this came from.. perhaps someone will be able to give more information on it.
