We saw Billy Bragg last year in Fremantle where he played three totally different sets over three nigthts. My wife and I went on our first date to a Billy Bragg concert in 1988. His drive, his political and social works, and his lack of cynicism is an encouragement to me and many others when we are faced by those who sneer at our efforts and who seem to enjoy watching the struggles of many of our fellow men, women and children.
