Wonky! (Definitely NOT a Fence Friday image)!

Earlier today I posted a Fence Friday shot............I completely lost track of what day it was :-)) My apologies to those who viewed it, especially Jaap and Noisette who were kind enough to comment. It will be back tomorrow (on the correct day)..!!

I posted this one because it seems to reflect the state of my brain today. I'm putting it down to my age and rapidly disappearing brain cells.

Have a good day everyone.

You've made me laugh. Thank you. I continually get things mixed up and things that I used to do on autopilot I now need to focus on. I think it's because the older you get the more things you know and the more memories you have so there's more chances of little glitches.

I'm always happy to make someone laugh Jean..........even if it is at me! I do like your thinking though. I shall use that as an excuse next time :-)

Well to make you feel better Keith, I once drove to Tesco to buy a case of Guinness which was on offer. When I got there the offer had ended. I did not want anything else in store so I walked back home. It was the following day when I realised the car was not outside the garage and then began to panic when I found it was not in the garage either. Getting ready to report the car missing I was trying to remember when I used the car last. !!! Then the penny dropped. Daaah.!
Losing track of the days is very common When you are retired it doesn't matter what day it is.

Keith Burton replied to HappySnapper:

Ha, ha.............thanks for that Maurice. I raised a laugh from me and my wife..!!

After a lifetime in the RN and on the railway - I did struggle with the lack of routine when I retired, but I think I'm getting used to it now (apart from the occasional glitch).

Jean Paul

Keith Burton replied to Jean Paul Capdeville:

Any more than one neuron is definitely overkill Jean Paul :-)) Glad you like the photo and thanks for dropping in.

Look after that neuron!

Haha, it's world beating wonky and there seems to be fog in the Channel;-) Just have a few single malts and it will straighten out...

Keith Burton replied to Gudrun:

I thought it was my eyes at first, but my wife saw the "wonkiness" as well, so I was reassured. At my age a few single malts would just make me fall over :-))
