PERFECTION!!! Keith, this is such a lovely art shot! Gorgeous in all regards, I just love it against black, and the angle is perfect too. Reminds me of an O'Keefe painting (lol w/o color of course, hah!)
I loved the comments you had on the Meyer's Beach pictures, thank you! Glad you enjoyed the views...I like the inset you prefer as well but decided to go with the main picture as my first because it was my first look at the ocean scape and I love how endless it appears. The 2nd pip does have more visual interest though. :)
Yes, our rig really is quite long--50 feet! But the size of so many, many rigs out there are much larger and they will often be towing a car along behind as well! NUTTY. Can't tell you how nice it is to have a bathroom, shower and kitchen at the ready anytime. I used to think that RV people were all a bunch of lazy losers. Now I get it...why spend all of your time setting up and breaking down tents and such, and even then, there's no amenities right there...ugh. I know that more and more people are doing "full-time RVing" and I can see why. A nomadic lifestyle is something I think that Steve and I will be adopting eventually! :)
Heh, I'm glad you enjoyed my tome...and you've lived long enough to tell the tale! You deserve a Kewpie Doll! :D It means the world to me that you enjoy my missives, how nice to be able to share my adventures and in a way that folks enjoy reading. :)
Have a lovely day, Keith! As I type, it's 9:15 here in Harbor, Oregon (it's really Brookings, Oregon, but at the coast), and The Sun is Shining!!! OMG!!! And, once again with lucky stars sprinkling down around us, it's Memorial Weekend and just happens to be the Azalea Festival going on through Monday! A classic car show is going on, art fair, flower show, a parade and all-day old-car cruise, there's a lovely harbor and trail walk for us...HIP HIP HOOOOORAY!!! :D
You've been 'round there again ;-)) I'm sure they don't think you're the least bit odd....especially if you show them the results of their hard work with your beautiful work. A smashing shot.
