Jumping Spider

These are not the best photos I would have wished for...............but I spent over an hour this afternoon chasing this miniscule Jumping Spider around the wall near my front door. I have a ceramic plaque with my house number on and it spent most of it's time hiding from me underneath it. This little beast is around 5 or 6mm in length and they move really fast. it was great fun, however it's getting personal now :-))

Slightly better if you view large, on black...............but not much :-))

Hahhhh again you make me laugh and what‘s more important: I like this little spider although I‘m still an arachnophobian :) she seems to play with you and smile to you...that‘s just a funny and great collection Keith :)

Oh my. Would you just LOOK at this cutie pie?! :D I am in love. How I ADORE jumping spiders, and I'm not at all surprised that you feel the same way I do. I'd have paid good money to watch you following this fellow around...perhaps you might employ your dear wife to sneak around after you taking videos of your antics?! It is such fun to get pictures of these spiders. Also just plain fun to watch them go about their business, so curious about the world, and with such good eyesight that they can look up at you and fling raspberries in our direction, "TAKE OFF, CAN'T YOU SEE I'M WORKIN' HERE?!" LOLOL!

Thanks for the show and also for your super comment about my latest installment! I figured you'd enjoy the pictures and would appreciate my maple leaves too! :D Oh, and the dig about the lovely sunny weather you're having...*blows a raspberry at you*...heh...we're going on a hike today called the "God's Thumb" and are hoping that the sky does not pour down upon us! :D Have a great rest of your day!

Je n’aime pas trop les collage, mais je dois dire que celui ci me stupéfie ! Une merveille d’araignee dans des postures de curiosité , d’attention des plus aiguisées ! Faut dire qu’avec autant d’yeux, rien ne lui échappe !

It looks quite a character. I love those eyes. It definitely seems to be having a laugh particularly in the lower left corner. That could easily turn into a bit of a battle I think.

Thanks for all your kind and funny comments. I'm amazed at how many of you liked this one, especially as I was quite disappointed with the results. I hope I may have gone some way to helping some of you get over your fear of spiders...........the tiny ones anyway :-))
