Keith, this is just great. So much to love about it. First of all, I was drawn to the grittiness of this scene. It's an abandoned spot, decaying...but there's still a painted sign on the wall which can be read. And what do you know? It's still being respected! The bike, leaning there, is fun to look at and makes you wonder...don't they worry about someone snagging it? This must be a safe place, and I like that. The rock wall is a delight of grubby textures and tones, along with the messy black paint along the bottom that's chipping off from age. Your angle is perfect, as is your choice for vignette and classy, simple frame. What a super moment to capture. Well done, Keith! :)

It's Thursday, so yes! You mentioned you can't do much commenting because of company...which arrived yesterday! :) I hope all is going well! :) And thank you for stopping by, it's always a favorite comment to read!! :)

And thank you for your nice comments about my new camera and birdy pictures! It's such fun to finally scratch that photographic itch after so long! :) I won't be using my new camera all the time but how grand to have the CHOICE to have a 600mm lens available to me whenever I like, without needing to find and hire a sherpa! :)

Janet, thank you for this and all your other generous comments on my photos. This was another example of me taking photos whilst my wife was in and out of the shops :-))
