Pine Cone

There were lots of these around so I used a narrow depth of field to make this one stand out from the background.

It's time for the barker to take the stand, point at you and yell, "GIVE THAT MAN A KEWPIE DOLL!!"

Oh that sliver of focus. Perfection in clarity and bokeh. It's such a fun game and hitting that sweet spot is so rewarding. What a beautiful picture. Definitely framable my friend, it's really wonderful. Pine cones are just so photogenic, aren't they? And against that bright green? You can't go wrong when the camera is in your capable hands! :)

LOL your remarks on my "shark's teeth" droplets made me laugh out loud you silly man! But also, you didn't know that I named that picture Frost Teeth but renamed the image on ipernity as Droplets at the last moment because I didn't know if people would see that too...heh...of course you did! Sometimes I think we're the Wonder Twins! :D

Have a lovely rest of your day/evening/morning! :)

The focus is spot on. It's lovely to see it. Open. The seeds all gone. Either eaten or off to grow another pine.or two.

Schönes Zusammenspiel von selektiver Scharfe und Unschärfe! Die Grüntöne im Bokeh sind fantastisch! Ein knackiger Schuss, Keith!
