Flower Fertilisation??
I recently bought a small A4 sized light box and thought I'd have a play. This was an idea prompted by one of those drawings you see in biology books of the male's sperm swimming for the female's egg. Not sure if it works or not, but I quite like it for a first attempt. Apologies to my wife for deconstructing a couple of her last surviving flowers :-)
Looks better viewed large, on black. Thank you.

This is such a lovely, artistic departure from anything I've seen from you, Keith! I loved reading about your inspiration, and I think your presentation is fantastic! It's colorful, fun, compelling and interesting to think about. Grats on your new light box, you are off and running away with first place on your first attempt! :)
Also wanted to say thanks again for all of the kudos you leave for me on each of my pictures. You are too awesome for words. :)

In this case a light box is just an A4 sized sheet of acrylic embedded with LEDs. When plugged in it gives a bright white light. You can put stuff on top of it (as I did here) or use it to light small objects to photograph them.
My one is only a couple of mm thick, so is not strictly a box, but it works just as well. You could probably build your own with some LEDs or a fluorescent lamp!
See - clear as mud!
