I like your idea for this challenge. I have noticed this week that most of the closeup shots are really challenged with the depth of field. The holes in these shots are disproportionately out of focus.

An inspired idea beautifully executed. Love the effect of the shallow depth-of-field and mono is the perfect choice I say! And, the most perfect musical match for 'Sight and Sound', Karen :-) Absolutely love the original version by Melissa. And, love Trisha's version just as much! Both videos are not available here. But, no worries.....just been watching the following videos -
