Time

This week in SSC:

Long Exposure

This Kit Cat clock is in my kitchen. His eyes and tail move from side to side. I used a 4-second exposure at f3.2 in Shutter Priority mode. I like how his eyes turned out.

...and for Sight and Sound

A choice of two songs from The Stones:

Time is on My Side

Time is on My Side

or:

Time waits for No One

Time waits for No One

I suggest trying to do the same with self portraits. Not the tail though! But moving the eyes from side to side. Depending on exposure and movement, you either get gray lizard eyes or eyes with the cat like narrow ovals ;-)

Great work, Karen, but too technical for me !! I always prefer when the theme is more keen on real artistry than technique !

Karen's Place replied to Marie-claire Gallet:

Merci, Marie-Claire.

These technical techniques can enhance your aritstry! :)

I like how this turned out!; I love the result on the eyes and tail, Karen! My husband's grandmother had one of these clocks when he was a boy, and I surprised him with one for Christmas about 25 years ago.

The eyes of the 'cat' looks as if he has been knocked out in a fight. Hilarious. :-))))
