Into the sun.

Another sunny day and definitely warmer. I slept late and was pleased that my legs felt better even if not quite back to normal. Decided to risk some gardening Cleared up round rosa mundi and pruned out dead wood. Was fairly ruthless and opened up a little path which had got overgrown. My neighbours were out so we had a chat. The children Courtney and Georgie were playing happily together with all their toys. They are well catered for with swings and slides and a trampoline. Came in to find seeds I ordered had been posted through the letterbox so I hope to have planted everything by the weekend.
After a cup of tea I drove off to photograph. It was lovely wandering round in the sunshine. The tide was in so I only took one or two shots and it was the same when I went inland. Didn't feel inspired until I was nearly home and at Collessie. More sheep and lambs. The rim lighting appealed but flare was a problem. Always something !

Nice selective focus on this little family group, and good to see the sheep on pastureland, Jean. It has been a bit warmer here today, but that might be because our central heating, kaput since Sunday, is now repaired. I won't need a hot water bottle tonight. ;-)

A lovely pastoral scene Jean.................especially in the sunshine. I love the rim lighting on the sheep and can't see any flare in this shot. The grass looks almost golden in colour!

Good to hear your legs are behaving themselves :-) Long may it continue!

I hope you have a lovely weekend...........and stay safe and well.

Oh they are sweet. A good job they are unaware of their fate isn't it! I'm quite pleased that I don't like lamb. Walking in the sunshine definitely lifts the spirit Jean, and I'm pleased your legs are feeling better. Have a good weekend.

I'm just about to post something very similar, Jean. I'm glad to say that most of our local farmers have delayed lambing until later this year, though we did see one or two weaklings at the end of January.
