A distant fence this week,, The Triscombe Stone, (right of image) probably dates from the Bronze age. It marks a meeting place and junction on the old drovers road along the Quantock hills that ran between Watchet in Somerset and Lyme Regis in Dorset.
The light filtered through the trees has given the stone and it's protective posts a surreal appearance,
Will add images of the drovers roads in the near future
Large Please.
My link for Sight and Sound, a terrific track by Mark Knopfler, Drovers Road,
