Steady as you go

Mucky snow and slippery underfoot but the Church of St Mary has seen it all before, the weather vane shows wind blowing from the cold easterly direction,
The unattractive and dangerous side of snow

Not funny at all, Roger .... I dislike this kind of weather.
As Larry said, hope that you will be out of all that very soon.
It's MUCH BETTER here for some days already, with 8 or 10° Celsius in the afternoon. We almost are believing that Spring is at the corner. But of course, I know that we musn't dream too much ツ
Have a nice day, my dear friend.

Roger (Grisly) replied to Christiane ♥.•*¨`*•✿:

Many thanks Christiane, all this fell in one day although we were warned just how much snow came down was quite a shock, the warmer days are very slowly arriving but we still get frosts at night.

The winter has reached us in Germany a few days. But now the snow is gone and spring can come. The temperatures are rising.

Nice and sharp image Roger, looks like you had more than a dusting of snow, I stayed put until it was safe to venture out and put one foot in front of the other without the fear of falling over.

Roger (Grisly) replied to HappySnapper:

Thank you Maurice, the strong winds didn't help and the drifts were quite high in places, Just walking down the road to take this made me nervous,
