Puff 3

Loco 7A, a 2'6" gauge 2-6-2 tank loco. Most railway in Victoria is 5'3" but 4 of these narrow gauge lines were added where heavy rail wasn't justified, mostly due to hilly country.

Puffing Billy heritage railway on a drizzly dismal Melbourne morning. Some B/W shots from a few days in the state of Victoria January 1972 (When I find the slides of the trip I'll be able to locate each photo).

Thanks Pam. It was a good day for B/W photography, heavy overcast and drizzly. I also have some slides from this day which I'll scan sometime...
Have you ever been to Puffing Billy when in Melbourne?
