I have never read Harry Potter books or seen the films, but I love your composition here and in the next photo. I was soring out my loft and found about 20 books of The Secret Seven that were my daughters, and she is now 48 :-)

Gillian Everett replied to Rosalyn Hilborne:

Thanks Rosalyn. I used to enjoy The Secret Seven. I would recommend Harry Potter, read in sequence, such page turners.

A lovely colourful arrangement! I have read all the Harry Potter books. The original English is much to be preferred as a lot gets lost in translation and I also prefer the books to the films.
I also very much like your PiP!

Gillian Everett replied to Gudrun:

Thanks Gudrun. WE have all the HP books and have read them all, and may well read them again, if I can handle the small print...

Never read Harry Potter or seen the films. Love your composition with the little drawers on background.

Gillian Everett replied to Xata:

Thanks Isabel. The drawers belong to a unit which my Dad made. We have painted it white, with the drawers alternately red and blue.

Wow. Love this Gillian. Is that a Folio Society Jerome K Jerome? I had a lovely collection of Folio Society books including a beautiful Tolkien set which are now in my book addict daughter's collection along with a large set of Agatha Christie books in hardcovers.

Great composition and excellent capture. Have a good week

Gillian Everett replied to Ecobird:

Yes it is a Folio Society edition. Jerome K Jerome's "Three Men in a Boat" is one of my favourites.
