Willie Wagtail

Native to Australia, these birds flit around so quickly, and have sweet voices.

Small and mostly black, willie wagtails have almost entirely black upperparts and white underparts and eyebrow. The male and female have similar plumage. They have a fan-tail and a short slender bill.

Saturday challenge... Flies in the air. Didn't manage to catch this little one flying, they are so speedy!

Birds are so hard to capture while flying. I'm glad you gave it a try anyway, Gillian, and you got a nice photo of him at least.
