Two of Dad's medals, 1939-45 Star, and The Defence Medal. he served in the army in North Africa and Italy. He also received the Africa Star, the Italy Star and the War Medal.

It was Anzac day on 25th April here in Australia, honouring the fallen, and those who fought to make the world a safer place for us all. Dad is humble about his Army service, doesn't really like to talk about it. Yes, I am proud of his service, and survival.
