Looks like some surviving series circuits there... the tall glass insulators are CD 125 Hemingrays - one of two styles known to be used on the series lighting lines there.

Unfortunately all the series circuits are inactive. It was very recent when all these lines were once live and being used.

I shot these photos with a D5000 SLR but I wish I could have gotten way closer shots with it. I still need to save money on a good high folcal lense.
