Sunday 8 May 2022 (1204) – Konectbus (Go-Ahead Group owned) 635 (SN65 OAU) seen loading in the Market Place, East Dereham when working service 8 to Norwich.

The bus would have originally departed Norwich Railway Station at 1047 arriving in East Dereham at 1133. At 1137 it continued to Toftwood running as a circular round that community to then arrive back at the Market Place and return to Norwich at 1205.

Shoppers and football supporters board the Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400D which is branded for the service (Straight 8). It was new in September 2015.

Services from East Dereham to Norwich are also provided by the ‘Excel’ services of First Eastern Counties. On Sundays their departures around this time were at 1135 and 1235 taking 40 minutes to the bus station. The Konectbus service 8 departing at 1205 takes 38 minutes to St. Stephen’s Street (amid the shops and near the bus station) and then continues to Castle Meadow (for more shops) and the Railway Station (1250).
