Received an update from my sister last night on my brother-in-law's condition:

"His doctor just came in and said the words we’ve been needing to hear- he said we are out of the woods . Still recovery road but we got that!!! Never felt so much joy. Matt is beyond relieved as I am. Love you all ❤️

Never seen a doctor in tears giving news - said he needs to be there the day Matt walks out of here . The plan he came up with worked."
