Captured at Carradale, a little fishing village in Kintyre, Scotland. These two lovely ladies were on a break from their jobs in a care home. Although they previously had totally different careers they both said how much they loved their jobs, and clearly love life as well. They saw me taking photos and joking invited me to take their picture and happily posed for me. We chatted for a while and they even taught me to pronounce a few Scottish place names properly!! I can honestly say they never stopped smiling and laughing. How much of a difference these friendly girls must make to the people they help to care for and their fellow workers.

When I almost reluctantly left them to their lunch I was smiling broadly myself. I need sunny people like this in my life too!
