Part of the Royal Border Bridge spanning the Tweed between Berwick on Tweed and Tweedmouth. Built between 1847 and 1850 and designed by Robert Stephenson, the bridge is 659 metres long and boasts 28 arches. It is part of the East Coast Main Line, which was electrified in 1989.
