I'm not sure if I told it already: All Nepomuk statues talk to you.
You have to stand in front of them and ask aloud: Nepomuk, what are you doing?
And he will tell you: Nothing.
As a child I heard the legend that he didn´t say a thing, is the translation of "nepomuk".So not only does he do nothing, he also doesn´t say a thing. The stars appeared on the water of the Vltava, when he was thrown into it and drowned. The last time I was in Prague I could not touch the plaque on his statue ( too many tourists) - I never was able to to back. beyondprague.net/czechs-in-history/czechs-in-history-st-john-of-nepomuk
