No, I would never do that, because wasps are very useful insects. We also had a similar wasp net at our house, which was built by small wasps.
This small wasp species surprised us in a positive way, because they had no interest in us at all, even when we were sitting nearby having coffee and cake or dinner.

Aïe aïe aïe ne pas y mettre les doigts, l'épi de maïs est doré comme les blés, une belle image !
