On the way in the Plitvice Lakes Park
The Plitvice Lakes National Park is the largest national park in Croatia and the oldest national park in South Eastern Europe. It was founded in 1949 and is located in the hilly karst region of Central Croatia near the borders to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
