A palace! HFF!

Indeed! This little corner belongs to the gardens of the Luxembourg Palace, the seat of the French Senate. HFF, Steve!

Our local wildlife reserve has a number of these but non as lavish as this, nice find and well captured,

Thank you, Roger, and HFF too! There are many of these "hotels" in France, but this particular location is exceptional. These are the gardens of the French Senate. Gardens are open to the public. The Senate even has beehives - they don't share or sell their honey, though ;-)

Isn't it beautiful? Actually, this "little" garden is part of a bigger, much more formal garden - but I love spotting these little paradises.
