The name Nordenskjöld I already met on a trip to Svalbard (Spitsbergen). One of the most beautiful glaciers there has the same name. This is the name of Nils Otto Gustaf Nordenskjöld (December 6, 1869 – June 2, 1928) was a Finnish and Swedish geologist, geographer, and polar explorer.
