Cabo Sardão- Birdwatching point

press Z, please

Between Almograve and Zambujeira do Mar is the westernmost point of the Alentejo coast.
It is not possible to remain indifferent to the imposing escarpments steeply cut towards a powerful and at the same time serene sea
Along the coast there are many white stork couples that only here and only on this coast have chosen their nesting site.
Cabo Sardão, is the only known place in the world where storks nest on rocks

La présence des cigognes donne l'échelle et souligne l'imposante roche qui résiste aux assauts incessants de la mer. Une très belle photo, Judite

Very well captured. Such a fantastic looking place and it's great that people can watch the birds without disturbing them!
