Living through the lens. It keeps reality at a distance. Maybe that's why there is so much of it nowadays.

Haha, at least this one is actually photographing the photo- usually it's selfies all but covering up Mona Lisa;-)

That's a great comment on our addiction to documenting and presenting our lives through technology.

Mind, I remember going to see the Mona Lisa over 30 years, and it was a dispiriting soul-less experience even then, hoardes of people chattering and pushing and crowded round this rather dark little painting.

Rabbit, I waited patiently in the second row before the railing as a young couple faced me while pressing off several selfie takes with Mona in the background.
