Well spotted tribute. In here we are very attatched to WWI, Portuguese did not enter directly in the conflict but went there to fight and were sacrified too. They were called "lanzudos" because they covered themselves with sheepskins to protect themselves of a cold that does not exist here, specially for those who came from my area.
