End of the Breakwater

Breaking composition rules, maybe, but this is my take on the lighthouse at Lybster Harbour.
The entrance to the port is between the rocks and the breakwater, which must make for an interesting ride when the North Sea swells and gales come along,
One of the many offshore wind farms on the horizon. Large perhaps,

Rules are made to be broken - and this image is a fine example; lovely leading line, sharp detail, ghostly reflections, superb light and I love the way the stone at the end of the land appears to be roaring at the wind turbines.
Damn fine Sir!!

So called "photographic rules" are, at the most, starting point guidelines, Roger. This works well with the light and reflections. Reading your notes though, I think I'd be very nervous indeed about taking a boat between the breakwater and rocks!
