Die Siedlung Margarethenhöhe gilt als erste deutsche Gartenstadt und wurde 1906 von Margarethe Krupp (Ehefrau des Friedrich Alfred Krupp) gestiftet. Die Siedlung umfasst 935 Gebäude mit 3092 Wohneinheiten und wird heute von der Margarethe Krupp-Stiftung verwaltet.
