I'm full of thoughts as I go home
crossing the road my head does roam
to days when I was upright it's true
age has overtaken and it seems the rule
no longer are we able to keep our pace
slower and slower and we loose some grace
the mind is still willing the flesh is not
as slowly we continue and wander across
the roads the paths and our way back home
sunshine and showers . . . and now, alone . . .
