#46 Scoria
SH46: Something you think is a treasure
This bit of scoria shines in various metallic hues, it stems from the Krafla Fires 1975-84. I picked it up in the volcanic rift zone of Gjàstykki in North Iceland.

Superb macro, and if you want to find such nice volcanic rocks, then Iceland is the place!
Having said that, the best I brought home was a couple of bottles of volcanic ash from 2010 eruptions of Eyjafjallajökull..
Nothing as pretty as this!
Best Wishes and keep safe!
