Der Royal Crescent besteht aus 30 Reihenhäusern, die 1767-1774 von John Wood dem Jüngeren erbaut wurden. Die halbkreisförmige Anlage mit der im palladianischen Stil gehaltenen Fassade und dem Blick auf eine Grünanlage war die erste ihrer Art und wurde stilbildend.

Besten Dank, Ko! Ich hatte das farbige Bild drunter und hab's wieder rausgenommen, weil Iper die Bilder im Bemerkungsfeld in der Breite so klein macht.
