Kind of funny, like that tree had dropped all the leaves at once.

P.S. I suggest trying something similar with vertical (portrait) composition. That lens sounds wonderful, especially because of the extensive depth of field.

Thanks a lot, Sami! They gathered all the leaves in the cemetery in a few big heaps and obviously hadn't got around to disposing of them.
I tried vertical but I was too wobbly in that low position;-)
I bought the lens as a replacement for the Samyang 14mm/2,8, it's much sharper and I trust it will do well in dark nights.

Also zuallererst gefällt mir auch die Tonung - ist doch schon (fast?) monochrom.
Das hat aber mit dem Objektiv nix zu tun. Dazu fällt mir auf, dass keine (kaum?) Verzeichnungen da sind und keine Vignette (Nachbearbeitet? Gecropt? Und ist die 6D Vollformat?). Und was mir besonders gefällt: bei f8 ist Unschärfeverlauf zum Hintergrund hin zwar da (wie es sich gehört) aber so gering, wie das beim natürlichen sehen so ähnlich wäre - dazu braucht man aber die vollste Größe, die du anbietest (und nicht nur "z").
Alles in allem ein schönes, sehr gelungenes Bild mit einem feinen Blick durch die Vertikalen - a bisserl an Schnee tatet fehlen halt, im Jänner - und das Laub wäre bei mir längst am Kompost! ;-))

Lovely tones here, Gudrun. I'm sure that there are lots of worms in this pile of leaves, all looking up at the tall trees, and foraging below ground in the cemetery..
